Laws of the game for sports arena
- All league games are 13 minutes each way.
- Play starts with a kick off. After a goal the keeper shall roll the ball out to restart play.
- The ball CAN be played above head height. The heading of the ball is punished with an indirect free kick.
- On all free kicks opposing players should be 2 yards from the ball.
- The goalkeeper is allowed outside of the area but cannot make contact with the ball outside of the goal area. If he does then a penalty kick shall be awarded. On distribution the keeper must roll the ball underarm with a bowling action below head height. Indirect free kick if not, to be taken 2 yards outside the area from where the ball left.
- Defending players gaining an advantage by entering the goal area will be penalised by a penalty kick. Attacking players will be penalised by restarting play from the defending goalkeeper.
- Substitutions can take place any time. You do not have to inform the referee. You must substitute from the end your team is defending.
- When an outfield player receives the ball from the goalkeeper, the ball must be touched by another outfield player before being passed back to the goalkeeper. Indirect free kick if this law is contravened.
- On penalty kicks the player must only take 1-step run-up
- Sliding tackles are not permitted. Players are also advised to keep their feet below waist level- indirect free kick for dangerous play in both cases.
- Players cannot hold onto the surrounding netting to gain an unfair advantage. Either by obstructing an opponent or ‘pinning’ an opponent into a confined area. This will result in an indirect free kick to the opposing team.
- All relevant F.I.F.A laws apply except professional foul and back pass law.

Pull, Push, kick, Trip, Hold or jump at an opponent or attempt to do so. Handball.
Indirect free kick
Obstruction – Dangerous play- All indoor laws other than penalties.

Offences which shall result in a two minute ‘sin bin’
- a) Persistent misconduct b) Unsporting behaviour
- c) Dissent shown by word or action towards the referee for a decision that has or has not been made.
Offences which shall result in a sending off
- a) Foul and abusive language b) Serious foul play
- c) Violent conduct d) Second sin bin offence
IF A PLAYER IS SENT OFF HE SHALL MISS THE REMAINDER OF THE GAME BUT MAY BE REPLACED BY ANOTHER PLAYER AFTER A SIN BIN TIME.
EVERY PLAYER SENT OFF IS REPORTED TO THE SPORTS CONNEXION DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE AND WILL RECEIVE A WARNING, SUSPENSION OR BAN FROM PREMISES.
